Ideal UPLOAD speed for camming is 1mb/s, but you can get by with 0.5mb/s (500kb)

If you are split camming, you will want 1mb/s for each cam feed. So, for example, if you are broadcasting on Streamate, LiveJasmin, and MyFreeCams simultaneously, you need a UPLOAD speed of 3mb/s ideally. Anything less will result in a choppy feed.

You can test your upload speed by going http://www.speedtest.net

Check your internet plan to see how fast your upload speed should be and to ensure you are getting the speed you are paying for. Invest in upgrading your upload speed, if necessary.
